Legacy Bar Exam Study Aids Have Moved to a New Platform

NCBE study aids for the legacy bar exam have moved to a new platform and format as of July 31, 2026. The NCBE BarNow platform has been sunset. If you purchased MBE, MEE, or MPT study aids through BarNow, you can submit a request for continued access to your study aid content.

Who Should Submit a Request

Submit a request if all of the following apply to you:

• You purchased MBE, MEE, or MPT study aids through BarNow. 
• Your one-year BarNow purchase was still active on July 31, 2026. 
• You want continued access to corresponding study aids using the new platform and format.

What’s Changed

Legacy bar exam study aids are now offered differently:

• MBE study aids are delivered on a new platform.
• MEE and MPT study aids are delivered in PDF format only. 
• Packages combining all MBE, MEE, and MPT study aids are no longer sold. 

What You May Be Eligible to Receive 

If your original BarNow purchase had not expired by July 31, 2026, you may be eligible for one year of complimentary access to corresponding study materials using the new platform and format:

• MBE study aids delivered on the new platform, accessible via your NCBE Account.
• MEE and MPT study aids delivered in PDF format, sent via email as a one-time download.
   

Note that your BarNow study aid data, including saved answers and performance history, will not transfer to the new platform.

Please note: 

• On the new platform, questions are limited to two attempts per question.
• Eligibility is based on NCBE’s verification of your original purchase.  
• One year of access is the only extended-access option available, regardless of how much time remains on your original purchase.  
• Requests will be reviewed and approved as they are received.
• The deadline to request continued access is November 30, 2026.

How the Request Process Works 

Step 1: Complete and submit a request before the November 30, 2026, deadline.

Step 2: NCBE will review your request and confirm whether your original purchase is eligible.

Step 3: If eligible, continued access will be issued in the relevant format and platform for your corresponding study aid.

Submit Your Request 

To submit your request for continued access to your legacy bar exam study aid content, select the button below to visit NCBE’s Contact page, select “Study Aids” from the Topic drop-down menu, provide your contact information, and describe the study aids for which you are requesting an access extension in the Message field.
