The Supreme Court of Maryland has entered an administrative order limiting the total number of exam registrations for the February 2026 UBE to 400 and providing a registration priority for Maryland retakers. https://www.mdcourts.gov/ble.

Maryland is administering the NextGen UBE in July 2026. Visit https://www.ncbex.org/exams/nextgen to learn more about the new exam. 

Maryland requires the following NCBE exams: the NextGen UBE and MPRE. Visit the NCBE Study Aids Store to purchase NextGen study aids; and MPRE study aids to help prepare for Maryland exams.
