Examinees Can Now Request an NCBE Number

NCBE developed the NCBE Number to serve as an alternative to the Social Security number as the unique identifier entered by examinees on their MBE answer sheets.

Individual jurisdictions will instruct candidates whether and when to use the NCBE Number as a substitute for the Social Security number.

Examinees may request an NCBE Number online at www.ncbex.org/ncbe-number. The process takes only a few minutes.
