MPRE Registration
Applicants should review the MPRE Information Booklet before registering for the MPRE. There have been significant changes in the registration process from 2012.
Online Registration
Applicants can access the online MPRE registration only through their NCBE Number accounts at www.ncbex.org/ncbe-number. Applicants who already have an NCBE Number may log in to their accounts and proceed to the online MPRE registration. Applicants who have not previously requested an NCBE Number must first create an NCBE Number account before they can access the link to register online for the MPRE.
An applicant who registers online for the MPRE will receive e-mail confirmation when his or her MPRE registration is processed.
Telephone Registration
Applicants are strongly encouraged to use online registration. Applicants who apply by telephone may not be able to access their Admission Tickets or their score reports online. Before registering by telephone, applicants should create an NCBE Number account at www.ncbex.org/ncbe-number. Paper application forms are not available.
Registration Deadlines
Online registrations must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. eastern time on the late registration deadline. Telephone registrations must be completed by 4:45 p.m. eastern time on the late registration deadline. Absolutely no registrations will be accepted after the late registration deadline. Applicants must have an NCBE Number in order to register for the MPRE. Applicants can request an NCBE Number online at www.ncbex.org/ncbe-number.
MPRE Test Center Assignments
The MPRE is administered in over 200 test center locations. The applicant will have the opportunity to indicate a test center preference when registering. Test center choices for applicants cannot be guaranteed. Applicants should be aware that travel to another city or state may be required.
