MPRE Examination Fees

For applications received on or before the regular receipt deadline, the fee for the MPRE is $73. For those who apply after the regular receipt deadline but before the late receipt deadline, the fee is $146.

The application fee entitles the registrant to receive a score report and to have a score report sent to the board of bar examiners of the jurisdiction designated by the applicant in his or her registration application. Examinees may request additional score reports from NCBE after the examination for a fee of $25 per report by submitting a request online via the examinee’s secure NCBE Number account at www.ncbex.org/ncbe-number.

Fees for MPRE online and telephone registration must be paid by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover only) or by e-check.

The e-mail confirmation of registration includes the fees paid and serves as a fee receipt. Separate fee receipts are not provided.

All fees are nonrefundable and nontransferable. There is no provision for makeup testing.
 

Reapplication Fee

If an applicant is unable to take the examination on the scheduled test date and wishes to reschedule, or does not attain a passing score on the MPRE and wishes to retake the exam, the applicant must complete the registration process for another scheduled examination and pay the full prescribed fee.
