The Meetings Specialist will support the Meetings and Education Department as needed, with various meetings and conferences throughout the year. A successful candidate for this position is a self-starter who has experience in an office setting, can accurately proof documents, practices impeccable quality control, and practices discretion in handling confidential material. The ability to maintain consistent attention to detail is essential. In addition to working with various aspects of meeting materials, the Meetings Specialist is expected to maintain a high level of professionalism in all communications and be able to work comfortably with contacts in person, via phone, and through email.
This position requires strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. A successful candidate will be tech savvy and willing to learn and work with various programs and applications.
College degree or equivalent work experience required. Prior meeting/event planning experience preferred.
